André Pinces' rich photographic images reveal an elegant style spanning fashion, portraiture and contemporary art. His cinematic vision comes from a continually developing approach to photography and a keen sense of the human condition.

After studying printmaking at the University of Alberta, working for the Edmonton Journal shooting New York City's Fashion Week captured Pinces' imagination, and in a short time he moved to New York. Recruited to work with Warhol photographer and former Man Ray student Christopher Makos, André has since maintained a relationship with the City, working with Interview Magazine cover artist Richard Bernstein, fashion industry's top model agencies Boss, Elite, Women and Next, and photographing editorial and portrait assignments for magazines. Pinces has exhibited at Galleries in New York, Montreal and Vancouver and continues to shoot fashion, portrait and commercial work for a range of international publications including Surface, Ike Ude's aRude, Vice, and US Weekly. Advertising credits include campaigns for clients such as Clarins and lululemon, and has photographed for Roadrunner Records and EMI Canada, among others.
